Regular verbs in the present tense
Remove -en from lernen and wohnen to get lern- and wohn-. Add -e for ich, -st for du, -t for er/sie/es and ihr, and -en for wir, plural sie and formal Sie. The finite verb takes the second position in a simple statement.
